International Conference on “Key Principles of Creation of National Systems of Identification and
Traceability of Farm Livestock” (Moscow, 26-27 June 2014)
ICAR was one of the co-organisers of an international conference entitled “Key Principles of Creation of National Systems of Identification and Traceability of Farm Livestock” which took place in Moscow from 26 to 27 June, 2014.
The event was managed with the assistance of representatives of the ICAR, the Ministry of Agriculture of the Russian Federation, Eurasian Economic Commission (common policy of Russia, Belorussia and Kazakhstan), the Food and Agricultural Organization (FAO), international and Russian experts.
The main aim of the workshop was the exchange of experiences and coordination of actions in Eastern European Countries and Countries of Central Asia for the creation of national systems for animal identification and recording.
The participation of representatives of Azerbaidzhan, Armenia, Georgia, Kyrgyzstan, Latvia, Lithuania, Belorussia, Kazakhstan, Moldova, Serbia, Tadzhikistan, Turkmenistan, Uzbekistan, Estonia Ministries of Agriculture made the Conference an international event.
